Dear 2nd Grade Families,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. As we step into the 2023-2024 school year, I wanted to take a moment to extend a warm welcome to all of our wonderful 2nd-grade families. While I am currently out of the classroom until the second semester, I have complete confidence that your children are in excellent hands with our dedicated and talented teacher, Mrs. Darcie Rust.

In addition to our school adventures, I am thrilled to share the exciting news that my family has recently grown with the arrival of our newest addition, Alice Rose. These early days have been filled with joy, love, and sleepless nights, and we relish every moment. As a result, I will be taking some time to be with my family during the first semester of the school year. I want to assure you that your children's education remains a top priority for me, and I will continue to be involved in their academic journey, even from a distance.

During my brief visits to the school during planning times, I had the pleasure of hearing wonderful things about all of you. The strong sense of community and the dedication of our 2nd-grade students and their families have made a lasting impression on me. I am truly excited about meeting each and every one of you in person, and I look forward to being part of the incredible learning experiences that lie ahead.

Remember, our school is like a nest, and our students are the eagles. Together, we will soar to new heights and achieve great things during this school year. Your active involvement and support are essential for our success, and I am confident that this year will be filled with memorable experiences and valuable learning opportunities for your children.
