Hi! My name is Lindsey Wright and this is my third year as a lighthouse teacher and first year in first grade! I graduated with honors in 2010 from Washington State University (GO COUGS!) and obtained my master's degree in 2016 for Walden University. My mission is to motivate students through high expectations to become
productive and responsible 21st
-century citizens; while fostering a
sense of humor and building a compassionate and equitable learning
environment. I look forward to all the learning throughout the 2015 - 16 school year!
When I am not in B105, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and Olive (my black lab pictured above). Going to movies and shopping are activities I never say no to. My husband and I are also busy preparing for out little girl to arrive in January.
My favorite things about teaching at Jefferson are Spirit Friday's and the wonderful community surrounding this high achieving school. If I could give one piece of advice to students, it would be to give 100% effort, 100% of the time!
