Welcome to Ms. Branch's Class

One of the great laws of nature is nothing in this world is constant except change. Education has proven this theory to be true. Educational experiences come in many shapes and forms and happen at many times and locations. With these experiences as a foundation, it has helped me to explore new ideas and horizons in furthering my education and shaped me into who I am today.

Hello, my name is Mary Elizabeth Branch and this is my fourth year teaching at Jefferson Elementary School and my fifth year teaching for Everett Public Schools. I've obtained my Bachelors in Public Administration from CSU, Dominguez Hills, two Masters from Pepperdine University in Education and Administration, and a Gifted and Talented certification from the College of William & Mary.

I've had the pleasure of teaching for several years at the elementary level in both public and private and have a range of experience from kindergarten through 5th grade. I look forward to having your child in my classroom where he or she will experience a loving and nurturing environment that is stimulating, enriching, and welcoming... their home away from home.  I want each student to strive for academic excellence and I encourage the importance of freewill which helps to foster the seeds that will grow within each student.

I smile when students realize their self-worth and begin to care about who they are and who they want to become. I am motivated when I have touched a student's life and he or she realizes someone cares about them and wants them to achieve. But most of all, at the end of the day, I sit back and say to myself that I am blessed to have a job that is gratifying to me and special in the eyes of many.

I welcome you and your child to an AWESOME year!
