Welcome to Ms. Lundgren's 3rd Grade Class!

  • April 1, 2020

    Dear families,
I hope you are all safe and well during this challenging and uncertain time. In addition to regular emails, it is my goal to use my teacher webpage to share updates and resources that will help make this time out of the classroom manageable for you, and as productive as possible for your child.
This week marks the start of the second phase of the school closure, and a transition away from review and enrichment to advancing the curriculum. Teachers are expected to be teaching new skills and content, and students are expected to be engaged in learning. In addition to meeting weekly iReady goals (30-49 minutes of on task time, at least one reading and math lesson passed), students in our class are expected to attend daily Zoom sessions (class meetings and lessons), and to complete and submit assignments for feedback. Morning messages, assignments, resources, and links to meetings and lessons can all be found in our Google Classroom.
If you have any questions, please reach out. I am here to support you and your child with the information and tools necessary for success with remote learning. Email is the best way for parents to contact me; however, you can also leave a voicemail message on my classroom phone. Students are encouraged to connect with me through the "Ask Ms. Lundgren" post in Google Classroom. I will respond to all communication within 24 hours.
Thank you for all you are doing to support your child's education at home. Please stay in touch, and take care of yourself and your loved ones!
