Welcome

  • Mrs. Graham Welcome to Mrs. Graham and Mrs. Dinneen's First Grade Class!

    September 2020

Welcome students and families. This year, your child will benefit from the shared teaching of two experienced educators. Mrs. Dinneen and I are looking forward to a full year of learning, starting in a distance learning environment. During the building closure you can expect an enriching academic experience with a focus on your child's social emotional well-being. Please refer to our Canvas classroom for our detailed scheduled. I look forward to getting to know you and your student as we begin our journey as first grade learners.

This will be my fifth year teaching at Jefferson Elementary. Last year, I had the benefit of working with our youngest learners through my role as Jefferson's Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports Specialist. I look forward to implementing our schools PBIS program into our classroom community. Prior to that, I taught kindergarten at Jefferson and have also taught in first and second grade in the district. I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Washington. In addition to being a teacher at Jefferson, I am also the parent of a proud Jefferson second grade student. Go Chargers!
