Jefferson Elementary School was built in 1964, nestled in a quiet residential area with a view of the Cascade Mountains and spacious acreage. In 1991, 2000 and in 2003 construction at the school included modernizations and expansions to meet the neighborhood’s growing population and desire for recreational facilities. In 2006, voters approved a construction bond that made it possible to completely rebuild Jefferson Elementary School as a community and learning center for the next 50 years.
