Welcome

  • Welcome to the Resource Room class at Jefferson Elementary!

My name is Wendy Schull. I began my career as a paraeducator with the Shoreline School District back in 1991. I received my BA in Special Education from Seattle Pacific University in 1998 and earned a M.Ed. in Severe Disabilities from the University of Washington in 2003.

I have been teaching in a variety of special education settings since 2000. While working for Everett Public Schools, I served as the Primary Extended Resource Room Teacher at Garfield Elementary, the Intermediate Extended Resource Room at Jefferson Elementary, and am now in the Resource Room.

This classroom is for students, kindergarten through fifth grades, who need additional supports to be successful in their general education classrooms. We encourage independence, self-advocacy, and persistence through both academic and social challenges.

On a personal note, I grew up in Shoreline, WA. I live here in Everett with my husband, Kelly. Our family includes Luna, our English Springer Spaniel puppy, and Murder Mittens, our cat. I enjoy reading, crocheting, baking, and gardening.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I look forward to meeting you all!

    Wendy Schull, M.Ed.
