• What will we be doing in Music this year?

    Although I won’t be able to see all your smiling faces in person when we begin the school year, I am looking forward to making music with you in your homes!   Mrs. Hill will be posting weekly online music lessons and activities in addition to weekly live zoom music classes for all grade levels.

     

    Some of the fun things you can look forward to in music class this year include: 

    • Singing games on zoom
    • Performing on instruments (Instruments will be provided in your “Remote Music Kit” that will be sent home with all students)
    • Listening to a variety of musical styles
    • Movement in response to music
    • Reading music
    • Writing music
    • Creating music

     

    Through our exploration of music in live zoom lessons and posted lessons online, we will learn important grade level musical skills and concepts.  Up to date information about music class can be accessed in “Music Class” on Canvas.
