Choose your own adventure- GET CREATIVE!
Plan Do Reflect is the time in our school day where your child can play independently or with others to use their imagination, creativity, and student directed learning. They learn to work together, create and reflect on a plan, and gain independence.
Plan Do Reflect can also be done at home with toys. Before your child plays, have them create a plan. While playing, they can “do” their plan. After play time, and after they have cleaned up their mess, they can reflect on how their plan/do went.
There are some questions you can ask them below, as well as a few ideas to help you get started! You can use any of these ideas, or ideas of your own. Have fun!
Please don’t forget to send pictures of what you create, I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Plan
Create your plan for your play time.
· What do you plan to do today?
· What will you do there?
· What will you need?
· How long do you think it will take?
· What do you think would be the best way or place to do this?
· How did you think of your idea?
· Will you need to make or find anything first?
· Do you need someone to do it with you?
Do
Do your plan.
This is the part of PLAN DO REFLECT that is the play time. Your student will do or create the plan they made before they started playing.
Reflect
Reflect on how your play time went.
· How did your plan go?
· Did you need to change anything from what you planned?
· Were there any things you used that you didn’t think of when you made your plan?
· What kinds of things would you change next time?
· Is there anything you would add or do differently next time?
· Are there any things you thought may have worked better?
· What things would you keep the same?
· Are there any things you noticed or were wondering about? What were they?
· Did anyone play with you? How did that go- did you work well together?
