• Most of the 6th graders will use the 6th Grade SpringBoard English Language Arts textbook. 6th graders in the Honors English class will mostly use the 7th Grade SpringBoard Curriculum. 

     

    The SpringBoard program is our main ELA curriculum, and it is aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).  I will supplement the SpringBoard program with additional novel studies and/or read-alouds, vocabulary (Greek and Latin prefixes, roots and suffixes), writing journal prompts (free choice options), and grammar lessons and activities.
