What is the PSAT?
The PSAT is a practice version of the SAT exam. The PSAT is offered to all Everett Public Schools students in the fall of their sophomore year. Students have the option to take the test again in their junior year for a $25 fee, which is waived if a student qualified for free/reduced lunch. If a students earn a high score on the PSAT your junior year, they could qualify to receive a National Merit Scholarship. The PSAT is 2 hours and 45 minutes long and tests your skills in reading, writing, and math.
PSAT School Day
PSAT school day is scheduled for October each year. All 10th grade students will participate in the exam. Juniors have the option to sign up for the exam. All non-testing students will have a three hour late start with the option to attend tutorials during the testing period.
