Welcome to Ms. Denham's Website!

  • Amy Denham Welcome to Life Skills at Jefferson Elementary!

My name is Amy Denham, and this is my first year teaching Life Skills with the Everett School District.  Prior to this, I taught Developmental Kindergarten for 6 years at Silver Lake and Jefferson Elementaries, and was a special education paraeducator for ten years, with experience in Autism, Life Skills, and Behavior Support classroom settings. I am so excited about starting a new school year and getting to know you and your child! You are your child’s first teacher, and I honor and respect that fact. Your insight into your child is so important, and I value your input and look forward to being your partner in your child’s education. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out and contact me.  The classroom can be very busy, but I will make every attempt to return calls and emails on the same day.

There are links on the left side of this page for parent support for Canvas and other technology, and also for community resources and activities to support children with developmental disabilities. The quick links are on the right side of the page, and include our Canvas Page, Epic online library, the Special Services department home page, and the Everett Special Education PTSA, which is a great source of support for families!

If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at the email link below.
