Hello! My name is Mrs. Rockwell! This is my eighth year teaching music at Jefferson (formerly as Miss Branch), and my thirteenth year of teaching overall. I am so happy to be here at Jefferson for another year.
I grew up in Lewis County in Southwest Washington. We moved around a lot, but my grandparents own a farm in Chehalis where I spent a lot of time with my four brothers and two sisters. On the farm, we made grass hay and silage, and raised a herd of Holstein and Jersey cows.
I graduated from Onalaska High School in 2005, Centralia College in 2007, Eastern Washington University in 2011, and Walden University in 2016. Throughout my musical career, I have played flute and piccolo in various ensembles, sung in multiple classical and jazz choirs, and performed in a jazz band and a bell choir. I have my endorsements in General, Vocal, and Instrumental Music, as well as Elementary Education. I am also currently pursuing National Board Certification.
I look forward to making beautiful music with the Jefferson Chargers this year!
