In the beginning Emily and her parents were in the car. There was a crash. Emily's dad went over a ledge avoiding a man in the road. They were upside down, Emily and her mom got out, but the dad couldn't. The tree couldn't hold the car anymore, and the car went over the cliff. After the accident the family moved into a new house.   A few months later she was in the house and went up stairs and saw a book. She put her hand on it and it cut her finger, then where the book was an amulet was there.  Read the book to find out what happens next.
