    My name is Andrea Gardner, I have been a teacher for 10 years.  I am so happy to have the opportunity to work with your kids teaching Art at Jefferson! In my time away from school, I like to go on mini-adventures with my family, drink way too much coffee, practice speaking Spanish, and travel. Some of my favorite adventures have been in China, Taiwan, and Mexico. I grew up in the great state of Maine but have lived in the Pacific Northwest for over 21 years. 

    I have an Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Arts in Digital Multimedia Design, Bachelor of Arts in Education, a Masters in Elementary Education 3 and a WA state Visual Arts endorsement. I love working with children to help them reach their goals and learn new things. It's especially gratifying teaching art because it is SO engaging for students. 

    My husband is a glassblower and I make jewelry, take pictures, watercolor paint, draw, garden, and anything else I can find time to create. Our daughter will do anything that lets her create and we look forward to learning what our energetic toddler will create when he is old enough.
