To introduce myself, I grew up nearby in Snohomish and received my Bachelor's degree, Teacher's Certification, and Master’s degree in Education from the University of Washington. The 2021-22 school year will be my 18^th year teaching, and my 16^th year here at Penny Creek.  For 12 of those years I taught 5th grade and loved it, but I've also really enjoyed moving into the position of Math Instructional coach! I get to work with all grade levels (students and teachers) on math - my very favorite subject :)  I live nearby in Silver Firs with my husband and our 2 sons.  We spend most of our free time outside enjoying the sunshine whenever we can!
