I hope you are settling into our new way of living and learning. I want to be sure that you know how you can reach me, and how you can access other resources that may be available. In addition to my teacher webpage, it is my goal to use email and Canvas to share updates and resources. My goals are to provide you with learning opportunities that are engaging, keep us fresh on concepts we work on, and introduce new ideas to keep us moving forward. 

During our remote learning time, the main method I will use to communicate with students is Canvas. Along with participating in our Canvas activities, I would like to encourage students during the week to keep up their i-Ready Reading and i-Ready Math. District provided Student Engagement Materials are also available to reinforce and extend learning.

I am very excited to have your child in my class this year and am looking forward to a year full of learning, growth, and development. I graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and I have a Masters Degree in Education. Over the coming school year, the teachers, staff and I will work with parents and guardians to maintain, create and enrich the best learning environment and opportunities for our children. Working together, I am certain this year will be a fantastic school year filled with learning and fun!
