I Love being a Woodside Toucan and working for Everett Public Schools.  I grew up in Illinois, I have lived in Wisconsin, and I moved out to Washington in 2006.  My mom, dad, and brother live in all other parts of the country.  Here, I have a "Grand Uncle," an aunt, and cousins who live in the Bellevue and Kirkland areas.  I live in Seattle and love exploring all the Northwest has to offer.

 

After high school, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. (GO BADGERS!)  I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish.  In 2012 I received my Masters in Education from the University of Washington-Bothell, in addition to becoming a Nationally Board Certified Teacher in the area of Literacy.  I truly enjoy being a lifelong learner, and our current situation definitely has me learning new ways to communicate and connect with families.
