This is my fifth year teaching at Penny Creek. I've always had a love of learning, so becoming a teacher has given me the opportunity to share that love with others and it keeps me immersed as a learner myself. I have a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmetal Biology from UW as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English Litrature and Language. I worked as a research scientist both at the UW and at University College Dublin. My teaching certificate is from Western Washington University in Elementary Education k-8. 

 

I'm also a mom of two incredible kids. Our family loves to hike, explore national parks, take trips to museums and attractions, cook, play games, swim, walk beaches, and travel.
