• Lesson 1

    In this lesson students were introduced to the concept of mindfulness. Mindfulness is paying attention on purpose to what is happening around and inside you right now, without judgment. Students learned that sometimes we have to STOP, REFLECT, and MAKE A PLAN. Mindfulness can help them do that. We did some balancing with tree pose and mountain pose, and finished with some deep breathing. In through your nose and out through your mouth.
