Sequioa High School

A high school of 300+ students, Sequoia offers a personal, family-like learning environment where students and their teacher-colleagues work side-by-side on a first- name basis, toward the single goal of empowering the individual student with a meaningful education.

EdCAP (Edmonds Community College Career Access Program)

EdCAP provides young adults (ages 16-21) with an opportunity to earn a high school diploma in a college environment, where they have the option to explore classes that will give them a jump start toward one of our many professional technical programs. Career planning, development and EdCAP Success classes are key components. Tuition, books and bus transportation are provided at no cost to the student.

EvCC Youth Re-Engagement Program (U3)

Everett Community College in partnership with Monroe Public Schools and the Center for Career Alternatives launched a program in the fall of 2000 to provide opportunities for 16-21 year olds who do not have a high school diploma. The program--based on a model of other successful programs in the nation--has a strong connection to career development and professional/technical job training.

Lake WA Institute of Technology - Open Doors Program

The Open Doors program is for 16-20 year olds who have either dropped out of high school or on the verge of dropping out and are interested in returning to school and completing their high school diploma. Students simultaneously accumulate high school and college credits, earning their high school diploma while progressing toward a certificate or associates degree. Students selected to participate in the Open Doors program will receive a scholarship for tuition and books. 

Cascadia Community College Adult High School Completion Program

Cascadia's Adult High School Completion Program enables adults (ages 18 or older) to complete course work for a high school diploma. Reduced tuition fees only are available to those students who are 19 years of age or older who are taking courses applicable towards their high school completion and earning their diploma from Cascadia Community College.

Job Corps

Job Corps is a free education and training program helping young people learn a career, earn a high school diploma or GED, and find and keep a good job. For eligible youth at least 16 years of age, Job Corps provides the all-around skills needed to succeed in a career and in life.

If you or someone you know is interested in joining Job Corps, call the local office (3201 Broadway, Suite C, Everett, WA 98201) at 425-388-0166 or call (800) 733-JOBS or (800) 733-5627 where an operator will provide you with general information about Job Corps, refer you to the admissions counselor closest to where you live, and mail you an information packet.
