Welcome to the Wonderful World of Mathematics!!!

  • Mrs. Green I would like to introduce myself. I am Mrs. Green. I have been teaching in the Everett School District for 22 years and am looking forward to starting my 23rd with your student(s). I got my Bachelors of Secondary Mathematics Education at Western Washington University in 1996. I started my own career at Gateway Middle School. I taught there for 6 years during which time I was math department chair for 2 years and ASB advisor for 4 years. I earned my Masters of Education from the University of Washington in 2000. I taught at Cascade High School for 12 years. I am currently beginning my 5th year at Eisenhower!

I expect students to come to class prepared each day. This means having their Unit Book with completed homework, pencils/pens, and their notebook or binder w/paper. Also a calculator is a tool that becomes invaluable to math students.
** And just a plug since I did spend many years at the high school level, most students will eventually be enrolled in upper level math classes where a graphing calculator is a necessity and the high schools don't have enough to loan all students so as you/your student continues with math, it's a great idea to put money aside to purchase a TI-83/TI-84 (all versions). **

You will find that I will be sending out a lot of information via email to any/all who join my address book. Students should bring a sign up form for the address book within the first 2 days of school. IF you want to receive test notifications, newsletter information, general information regarding Eisenhower events and do not start receiving them within the first 2 weeks of school please contact me and just tell me which student belongs to you so that I get you on the correct email list.
7th Grade Math Curriculum can be found at Open Up Resources. No login or code required.
    Mrs. Green
Here's to having an excellent year.
