Updated as of 4/15/20- I will be switching to Google Classroom as the platform to communicate, post learning materials, assign work and/or tutorials, provide feedback, and other information to engage students during school closure.  Please be looking out for a 'join' code in your email (student and parent email) for the Google Classroom by the end of the day 4/15/20.  Additionally, by the end of this week, 4/17/20, I will share with you other ways I can communicate with you and your child to support learning at home starting April 20, 2020 (ie. Open office hours for student/parent consult).

I am a proud graduate of Tacoma Community College and Washington State University (WSU). I have been an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) for Everett Public Schools since graduating from WSU in 2006 with a Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology.  I have enjoyed providing speech and language evaluation and therapy services throughout the years for students in the Developmental Preschool, Life Skills, Extended Resource Room programs, and students in the general education classroom from elementary to high school.  Currently, I am serving students at Gateway Middle School part-time (2 days) and the rest of the time I am the lead member of the district's Assistive Technology (AT) Team.  As a member of the AT team, I help provide service that assists a student with a disability in the selection, acquisition, or use of an AT device and/or system to increase, maintain, or improve their functional capabilities.
