Welcome to another school year! I am very excited to begin my ninth year as part of the Gateway team. My family and I served at a children's center in Uganda from 2008-2015 before returning to the States. Previous to our time in Uganda, I worked at Jackson High School from 1996-2008 and taught in a Los Angeles County Juvenile Court School from 1991-1996 .

I graduated from Pepperdine University with a bachelors in English-Journalism and then later earned a Masters from Pepperdine in American Studies. I am looking forward to a year of learning and growth in a fun, engaging environment.
