Welcome to another fantastic year at Gateway Middle School! 

I graduated from Western Washington University and my undergrad degree was in English Literature with a focus in Social and Liberal Studies. I then spent a year in Thailand teaching English to elementary school-aged children in Chiang Mai. This inspired my love of teaching and learning; I was motivated to go for my Master's degree and become a teacher here in my home state. I went back to Western (Go Vikings!) and got my Master in Teaching degree.

I am very excited to have your student in my class this year, and I am looking forward to a year full of learning, growth, and development.
