With the district-wide closure of Everett Public Schools, we have created a website that includes an initial set of materials intended to support students’ engagement in learning. The materials do not replace the experience of being in school but can help students maintain the learning that has taken place this school year. Click the headline to visit the page.
Governor Inslee announced a mandate that schools close through April 24. Therefore, Monday, March 16, Everett Public Schools will be closed through Friday, April 24. School will resume on Monday, April 27. Please click link for more details on what this means for our families.
We are committed to providing access to the nutrition Everett Public School students need during an extended emergency district wide closure. We will be offering meals for pick up at a total of 23 school sites and at least 5 apartment complexes. Please click link for more information.
As we continue to work with local and state health officials to monitor and respond to the COVID-19 coronavirus, we made the decision to postpone our April 28 bond. District officials are looking at later dates this year based on the evolving healthcare situation. Click link for more info.
i-Ready is an online program for reading and/or mathematics that will help your child’s teacher(s) determine your child’s needs, personalize their learning, and monitor progress throughout the school year. i-Ready allows your teacher(s) to meet your child exactly where they are and provides data to increase your child’s learning gains. i-Ready consists of two parts: Diagnostic and Instruction. Learn more about i-Ready by clicking on link.

The use of cell phones in the classroom can distract students from instruction, yet can be important to have accessible in case of emergency. With this in mind, the district has adopted a new policy 3246 and procedure 3246P which prohibits cell phone use in the classroom while still providing access for students in case of emergency.
Elementary school students who choose to bring cell phones to school may only use them before or after the school day. During the school day, they must be powered off and stored (e.g., in the student’s backpack, locker, other district provided storage). There will be storage in the classroom so, in the event of an emergency, the cell phones will be accessible without leaving the classroom.
Please view our registration information for all documents necessary to complete your student's registration. Complete packets may be downloaded to print at home or picked up at the school office.
Visit the Transportation homepage and select the 2019-2020 Path Finder under the QuickLinks list to enter your address to view school/transportation information.

If your student is absent from school, please email the attendance office at email@example.com to let us know the following:
Do you have a medical appointment for your child, or they were sick and you brought them to the doctor? If so, make sure to ask for a medical note that you can turn in to the attendance office. Those absences can then be coded as a medical excuse.
Please fill out a Prearranged Absence Form if your student will be going on vacation/traveling or will miss school for an extended period of time.
An automated email/phone message notification of your student's absence will be sent by 10 a.m. each school day. If you report your student's absence AFTER 9:15 a.m., we thank you for the information, but please know, you will still receive the automated notifcation at 10 a.m.
