The Jazz Band  is a select performing group that meets at 7:15 AM in the band room on Tuesday and Thursday. All instruments are welcome to participate in the jazz band, but the "traditional" jazz instruments are as follows: 

• Saxophone (alto, tenor, bari)
• Trombone
• Trumpet
• Drum set
• Piano
• Guitar
• Bass Guitar
• Vibraphone

Auditions will be announced soon.

Jazz auditions will consist of the following (except drummers):

1.        Perform 12 to 16 measures of a pop or jazz piece of your choosing.
2.        Sight-read a piece of the director’s choosing
3.        Bb and Eb concert major scales memorized

Drum set:

1.        Rock beat
2.        Swing beat
3.        Sight-read
