    Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year.
     
    This will be my 17th year of teaching, and my tenth year at Heatherwood. Before becoming a teacher, I went to beauty school in Chicago and owned a salon there for six years. I received my bachelor's degree in Equestrian Science at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. I worked as a professional horse trainer for many years in Nebraska, Maine, Australia, Kentucky, and Michigan before going back to school to get my teaching certification at Eastern Michigan University. I am so excited about the start of a new school year and look forward to a year full of learning, growth, and discovery.
