Welcome Students and Parents/Guardians,

My name is Mr. Scholz, and I teach 6^th-grade English Language Arts and 6th-grade Honors English Language Arts. I'm eager to get started – and I’m not afraid to admit – a little nervous, too. Isn’t that how it is on all new adventures, though? I’m confident we’ll make it through . . . we’re Stronger Together!

Google Classroom will be our “Home Base” for posting and calendaring assignments. Daily Agendas and assignment-specific resource materials will also be warehoused in our Google Classroom. Students who are absent should keep up with the class by accessing the “Activities-of-the-Day” slide decks. Most of our assignments will be posted and turned in through Google Classroom.

District Outlook email with be the official platform for email communication. Be sure your most current contact information is updated in the school system. Please contact the main office at Heatherwood, and they will be able to assist you in updating your information.
