    Greetings!! The 2024 - 25 school year is my ninth year at Heatherwood and my twenty-seventh year in the Everett School District. Prior to transferring to Heatherwood in 2016, I spent six years teaching Earth, life, and physical sciences at Evergreen Middle School, followed by twelve years teaching Physics and Coordinated Science at Cascade High School. At Heatherwood, I have taught science and technology at all grade levels. I am looking forward to another year of teaching 8th grade science!
     
    You may monitor student progress by first checking Canvas grades, the Canvas calendar, and the Canvas "To Do" list. You should also use the portal for online grades. From there, you may request that grades or alerts be emailed to you. If you have questions, comments, or concerns, please email me: LAnderson@everettsd.org. Links to all course information will be available in Canvas. Students will have Canvas access by the second week of school. Parents are encouraged to observe their students' Canvas classes.
