• Helping Hands Environmental Club Meets on Wednesdays.

Our focus is on Heatherwood community, environmental concerns, and how students can be active participants in problem solving.

Goals the team is working on are as follows:

    • Student club members collected over 1000 markers for a recycling program of unusable pens, markers, and gluesticks. Students pick up used markers and pens every Wednesday.
    • Student club members designed a presentation for Multicultural Night, April 26th and participated in games and activities.
    • Student club members are crocheting to give as prizes on Multicultural Night and other donatations (scrafs, hats).
    • Student club members supported teachers in helping to organize classroom materials for the end of the year.
    • Students supported the Cutest Pet Contest with donations to PAWS by volunteering their time collecting votes for the "cutest" pets.

Thank you to all the TEAM MEMBERS who are diligent and devoted to helping their community!
