Foundation Choir
Choir 1
Full-year course
No experience required
Open to all grades
3 concerts per year
Field Trips
Students in this performance course are encouraged to explore singing and creativity through their aesthetic communication of various styles and genres of choral music. Students learn foundational vocal technique, rehearsal skills, music reading and literacy, etc. This course includes multiple evening concert requirements outside of the normal school day and students provide their own performance attire.

Requirement: at least 1 year of choir
Open to 7th & 8th graders
3 Concerts per year

National Anthem at Silvertips GameWild Waves Festival (for 8th grade students who sang in choir all three years only)
Students in this performance course are encouraged to explore singing and creativity through their aesthetic communication of various styles and genres of choral music. Students will continue to master vocal skills and music literacy. Advancement may be based on performance level. Concert and performance attire requirements from Concert choir apply.
