Welcome to Ms. A's Home Page!

  • EPS-Logo Greetings! I am excited to begin my second year at Heatherwood and my twentieth year in the Everett district. Prior to transferring to Heatherwood in 2016, I spent six years teaching Earth, life and physical sciences at Evergreen Middle School and twelve years teaching Physics and Coordinated Science at Cascade High School. I have a bachelor's degree in Zoology with a minor in Natural Sciences, a master's degree in education, and have done a significant amount of post-graduate work in physics, Earth science and technology integration.
You may monitor student progress by using the online portal. You can also request that grades be emailed to you. Please keep in mind that many assignments are completed in journals, hence there will be fewer entries overall in the online gradebook. Students may take home their journal entries to show parents what we are doing, but it is very important that the journals come back the next school day.

Please see the links on the left and right for additional information. If you have questions, comments or concerns, please email me anytime: LAnderson@everettsd.org.

“Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is to make yourself do the thing you have to do, when it ought to be done, whether you like it or not. It is the first lesson that ought to be learned...”
