• Welcome to English at Everett High School! My name is Ms. Manus, and I teach English 3 and English 131 (Composition: Expository Writing), a UW in the High School course, here at EHS. I am also the 2022 Regional Teacher of the Year for Northwest ESD 189, which means I have the privilege of representing Everett Public Schools and our greater region this year. Most importantly, I get to use my title to advocate for my students and amplify their voices. They are the reason I'm here!

    This is my tenth year in education, my sixth year as a classroom teacher, and my second year at EHS. 

    I received my degrees from Seattle Pacific University. I have a bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing, a bachelor's degree in Sociology, and a master's degree in Teaching. Learning gives my life purpose! I hope to bring that joy and purpose to learning together this year.
