Welcome to Ms. Gaub's Web site.

    03/16/2020: Covid-19 Closure:

    Hello Parents and Students,

This is a weird and difficult time for all of us and we are all learning while we go along. As of now we know we will be closed from 3/16-4/24. Teachers have been asked to provide content that will reinforce current skills, but to not introduce a lot of new skills. Students in 2nd semester art are still new in their art skills and many at home are limited in supplies, so I will do my best to support you from afar.

Art is an excellent way for people to relax and de-stress. Being creative helps with mood and keeps your mind sharp and engaged. So I encourage you to do more art than is assigned... not for your grade... but for your well-being. If you want extra ideas for projects go ahead and join the online Art Club with the class code and link below. If at any point the assignment is confusing or stressing you out, skip it, do something else, look for my Youtube links or email me.

Teachers will be checking email daily through out every school day Monday-Friday. I will do my best to respond quickly. If you need art supplies, you can email me and we can try to get you something thru the meals pick-up/drop off system.

Assignments will be shared through the google classroom, finished practices and projects should be uploaded to the Artsonia Classroom when possible.  Artsonia has a great app you can download on your phone or tablet. But you can also email pictures to me or turn in on the assignment on the Google Classroom. I will email you often so you know what is going on and when you should try to turn things in. Please do not stress out about deadlines. Use art as your way to relax, have fun and keep yourself from getting bored at home.

I will be continuing my classroom RAFFLE!! Every time you email me with a question, upload an artwork to Artsonia or participate in an online activity you will earn a ticket!! I will do drawings on MONDAY's on a live video and then send you a fun prize in the mail!! (I am still figuring out how to do this or when to do this, so stay posted!)

We will get thru this! Do your best, ask me questions and stay safe and healthy!

    Mrs. Gaub
