• As the new Intro to Art teacher at Everett High School, I am thrilled to join the Seagull community! Growing up in the North Seattle area, I have a diverse background ranging from owning a small coffee business to becoming an educator. I've discovered a passion for fostering community, creativity, and exploration. My experience in education includes four years as a paraeducator in the Northshore School District, providing social-emotional and academic support, and completing my MA in Education with endorsements in visual arts and English Language Learning. Last year, I had the joy of teaching art in the Everett School District, incorporating the elements of art using various mediums with differentiation, including drawing, painting, collage, and ceramic hand-building to meet every student's needs.

Art has always been a positive outlet for me, helping me navigate learning disabilities as a child, and I hope to help students find their own path through the arts. This experience has prepared me to understand our students and my hope is to inspire them to believe in their potential as great artists!

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family, being active outdoors, watching football, and continually learning new skills and experimenting with new creations in art. I look forward to building relationships, encouraging challenges, and setting high expectations for our students.
