Welcome to my website!

Wow, I can't believe tomorrow is the first day of May! Time goes by really fast some days and really slow other days. I just hope you are staying safe and trying to get some exercise every day. I am trying to go on two walks every day. 

In addition to Google Classroom, I will also have Zoom meetings. At our meetings, we will play games, share show and tell items, and catch up with friends. It is also a time for students to ask any questions they may have. I will post the link to join the meetings in Google Classroom. To join the meeting, click the link and type in the password.

1st-3rd Period Zoom Meetings will be every Monday and Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.

6th & 7th Period Zoom Meetings will be every Tuesday and Thursday at 2:00 p.m.

Please review the district website. The website added resources for students and families specific to their grade to help students stay engaged in the learning.

I miss my students so much already. I will email students and parents weekly updates. If you do not receive an email from me, it is because I do not have your updated email address. Please email me at lmaltos@everettsd.org if you have not received an email from me this week and I will update your address. Also, please feel free to email me anytime with questions and I will respond to you as soon as possible.

I will be using Google Classroom to post daily homework assignments.

As of Monday, March 30, 2020, all assignments on Google Classroom are REQUIRED. Assignments are posted Monday-Friday in reading, writing, and listening. I will monitor students participation through Google Classroom. *Students can complete late homework assignments anytime. So, if your child is missing an assignment, please encourage him/her to complete the assignment(s).

 In addition to Google Classrooms, it is required that students in the 1st period complete 25-30 minutes of Imagine Learning (ILE) every day. Students in 6th period are recommended to complete 25-30 minutes a day of Language Live. Students are familiar with these programs and can easily access them from their computers at home.

Translation

Use Google Translate to translate the teacher webpage or any information in Google Classroom. Go to Google Translate and enter any text or URL. Google will translate the text from English to your target language.
