 2020-2021 will be year of adventure.  We are going to learn and have fun as we explore the Chinese language   and culture together. In our Chinese 1, 2, 3, and 4/AP classes, you will have many opportunities to practice listening, reading, speaking, and writing.

You will also develop an appreciation of Chinese culture through thoughtful examination of music, art, history, literature, and pop culture. My goals are to provide the necessary support and structure for you to gain confidence and proficiency in Chinese within our safe and inclusive learning community at H.M. Jackson HS.

How often should I check Canvas?

Please log in on Canvas daily prior to our scheduled meeting for the Zoom ID, announcements, and messages.  The course materials, recourses, and homework assignments will be posted on Canvas. You can also download the Canvas app to your phone.

Where can I find homework information, resources, Calendar information, Zoom links? 

The above information can be found on Canvas. We will use Canvas as our main learning platform. Syllabi and other necessary forms will be made available on this web page and Canvas.

How can I get help with my Chinese class?

Office Hours for 2020-2021remote learning via Zoom meeting (Zoom meeting ID will be shared on Canvas).

• Monday - Thursday 2:35pm -3pm
• If you can't meet during regular school hours, please email me and we can try to schedule a different time to meet.
