• Outlined below is the summer homework students enrolled in Advanced Placement English Literature and Composition are expected to complete before the first day of school in the 2018-2019 year. You will read and annotate McCarthy's novel. If you do not have a specific note-taking strategy, you may use the strategy outlined below to help you.     Required Reading and Assignments:
    All the Pretty Horses - Cormac McCarthy (Mrs. Little has 66 copies for students to borrow for check out.)
    Dialectical Journals with Cornell's (Optional note-taking strategy. You may use your own system as long as it is as thorough and effective.)
     
    Required upon the first day of school: Complete the AP Review Guide form. You should type your responses directly into the Word document. You will submit this to Turnitin.com (I will show you how to access this on the first day), and you will bring a printed copy with you as well.
