Welcome to science!

I spent my first 9 years after college working with various research groups at the VA Puget Sound Healthcare System. My work included animal research and the effects of PTSD, clinical research looking at Parkinson's disease and cognition, along with studying various biomarkers. I earned a master's in teaching degree in science education after my 9 years in clinical research.  I’m so thrilled to be teaching science here at HM Jackson High School.  Physics is a passion of mine, and I'm looking forward to getting to sharing that excitement with you this year.
