I am excited to have AP Seminar and Senior English students this year! These are my favorite subjects and age groups for many reasons, but the most important reasons are that AP Seminar is a research and inquiry class and seniors are just about to leave the nest as adults, joining a complicated and sometimes daunting world, freshly empowered with the tools to be successful and discerning of information. I love to see the growth and changes in my students, and I am happy to be a part of it in the best possible way I can.
A bit about me:
My wife and I graduated the same year from the same high school (The photo to the left is when we were 16), and we have five children. We also have many pets--and lots of responsibilities. I am a history geek and can't read enough about it--all kinds (come see my classroom!). My wife and I enjoy family time and working in our yard and on the house, as well as taking the kids out on the water and going on weekend family vacations to Cle Elum, Ocean Shores, and Belfair. I am honored to work with an excellent staff who deeply cares about all our students and their success in school and after. There is more about me but I am a complicated person. Please come by C206 to say hi when you get a chance.
