I am looking forward to getting to know you and your student this year! We will embark on an engaging year of learning and growth.

For the 2024-2025 school year, I will be teaching AP World History and MLL US History. My history courses are centered on my belief that history and social studies equip students with critical thinking skills and knowledge that will prepare them to be engaged, active individuals in both their local and global communities. Learning about our history provides us with the wonderful opportunity to understand different perspectives, make connections between the past and present, and cultivate historical thinking skills such as argumentation, contextualization and evidence-based analysis.

This is my sixth year at Jackson High School and I love being part of the Timberwolf family! I have a BA in History from Carleton College and my Master of Arts in Education from Stanford University. Here's to a fantastic year!
