    The goal of Jackson Aquatics Booster Club (JABC) is to ensure that our current and future athletes have the resources to participate in swimming, diving, and other aquatic programs that are developed at Jackson High School. JABC was created for parents and alumni to maintain an interest in and support of this activity. We will have a few general meetings during the year (JABC supports both the girls and boys teams). Everyone is encouraged to attend.

    The primary function of JABC is to provide support for our swim teams and coaches. These include guiding team captains through the purchasing of team gear and planning of team events, volunteer support for the meets, maintenance of the team records board for JHS and WEST, and other needs that may arise.

    Fundraising

    A big part of the JABC support is fundraising. Monies raised are directed toward athlete sponsorship, home meet computer support, team dinner subsidies, team-building activities, District & State recognition, and end of season coach and senior gifts. In addition, as funds permit, we assist with the acquisition of shared equipment at our home pool (WEST) and with State Team expenses.

    In order to support these activities we need to raise funds, and we need your help. Fundraising opportunities include Run of the Mill 5K water stations, car washes, Brown Bear car wash coupons, and MOD Pizza night. We also ask that every family donate at least $10 to the JHS Swim & Dive Fund.

    Corporate Sponsorship: We welcome company sponsorship throughout the year. Our Gold, Silver, and Bronze level sponsors are featured on our Sponsors page and in our Facebook Group. JABC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

    Parent Participation

    Parent support and direct participation is critical to the team. Swim meets are run by volunteers and we are responsible for providing timers and officials during our home meets. In fact, many of our officials are parents of former JHS swimmers! Please come to the scoring table (at the starting end of the pool) to offer your services. No experience is necessary and you have the best seat in the house. (Please note that spectators may not be allowed on deck, so the only sure chance to see your swimmer compete is as a volunteer timer or official!)

    We use a few methods for getting information out to athletes and parents.
