Over the next several months, the Everett Public Schools Board of Directors, working collaboratively with our district’s dedicated staff and with the community, will choose a new superintendent of schools. The Superintendent Search page is designed to provide the community and other interested parties information about the board’s search for and plan for hiring a new superintendent.
The selection of a superintendent is central to the direction of the school district in the future, as well as to continuing the exemplary work being done to graduate students on time and preparing them to be contributors in a global society. Our schools are high-performing learning centers that engage over 20,000 students in a culturally-rich community, where families speak 97 different languages from every corner of the world. Staff and students are encouraged and supported to be life-long learners and community leaders.
There will be a "Meet and Greet" with the superintendent finalists on May 29 at the Community Resource Center for the community, students and staff. The finalists will rotate through on 45 or 60 minute cycles. Mark your calendars for the times below and we hope to see you on Wednesday, May 29.
- Community 5:45 - 8:45 p.m.
- Students 2:30 - 4:45 p.m.
- Teachers 6 - 8:30 p.m.
