    A new district standard playground will be installed at Penny Creek ES in the summer of 2023.

    Updates

    This project was completed late summer 2023.

    July 1, 2023: The contractor is beginning the demolition of the existing playground equipment. The new playground equipment is scheduled for installation starting on August 14.

    April 11, 2023: Design and equipment selections are complete. A contract has been issued to KCDA and Landscape Structures for the new playground. Work will commence after school is out for the summer. 

    February 13, 2023: Design of the new playground and equipment selections is nearing completion and has been presented to the school administration for consideration.

    December 21, 2022: Design of the new playground and equipment selection is underway. Design ideas will be presented to the school in January.

    October 25, 2022: Design of the new playground to begin in November.
