The 2016 bond provides $149.7 million for projects to reduce overcrowding to modernize aging facilities. Projects funded by this bond include a new elementary school (Tambark Creek ES), modernization of North MS and Woodside ES, Gateway MS roof replacement and other smaller projects.

The district is anticipating it will be able to utilize interest earnings on the bond funds and state construction assistance funds to expand the scope of many of the original bond projects and add new projects to meet additional immediate needs.

The 2016 levy provides $89.6 million to support technology infrastructure upgrades and maintenance, safety and security upgrades, additional instruction support, purchasing land for future schools, and purchasing additional portable classrooms.
