Tambark Creek Elementary School

  • Thanks to community support for the 2016 Capital Bond, our newest school, Tambark Creek Elementary, welcomed students and staff on September 4, 2019, just in time for the first day of school.

The 83,000 square foot, two-story structure is the learning home to 600 students in grades K-5 and 60 faculty and staff in the district’s fast-growing southern region. The new school has 30 classrooms, an administrative office, library, gymnasium, a cafeteria, kitchen, covered play area, and playfields.

Site work includes street frontage improvements along 180th street and 174th street and a protected wetlands area, used for outdoor learning.

By design, the school boasts plentiful natural light to support learning and wellness of students and staff. Learning environments are flexible and adjust to meet various needs and learning styles. Built with community support, Tambark Creek is an accessible, safe, inclusive and welcoming place for our students to learn and grow.
