Description

This project includes a full modernization of all the classrooms including the cafeteria and kitchen in the Civic Auditorium building, including approximately 25,000 SF of classroom space on two floors, a complete modernization of the 16,600 SF cafeteria and kitchen on the third floor and upgrades to the mechanical and plumbing systems. Improvements will include seismic upgrades, demolition of an exterior enclosed ramp system, construction of a new 350 SF stair, elevator and vestibule, a new room, a new HVAC system and miscellaneous site improvements.

April 1, 2025: Ed Spec Workshop (school tours) was held on March 24, 2025. Next Workshop is scheduled for April 15, 2025.

March 11, 2025:  Ed Spec Workshop #1 was held on March 4, 2025.  Next Workshop (school tours) will take place on March 24, 2025.  Awaiting proposal from PBS Environmental for hazardous materials survey and design/construction support.  Hazmat survey planned for summer 2025. 

December 11, 2024: Agreement executed with Bassetti Architects for the Educational Specification process scheduled to commence in March 2025.
