I am excited to be the teacher/librarian at Forest View Elementary School. The library is the center of the school; a place to gather and find a great book to read and share with others. I love that about our library and school.  Our school and community enjoys and supports reading. The library is active with staff, parents, and students . Parent volunteers help shelve and work on projects with students in the library. Our outstanding PTA supports the library with book fairs, Birthday Club, and new books each year with grant dollars.

I graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 1979 with a degree in Education, Social Science and Literature.  I returned to school to pursue a "Master in Teaching" degree through Seattle University.  I have had many wonderful experiences of teaching kindergarten, first, second, third, fourth, grades and multi age groupings. I appreciate the challenge that each level brings. I was Everett School District's teacher of the year in 2009.
