STEM experiences at an early age expand the number of students who choose advanced degrees and careers in STEM fields and expand the number women and minorities in those fields.
Everett Public Schools is dedicated to the development of a district-wide approach to STEM teaching and learning characterized by challenging, problem-based learning experiences that integrate disciplines and curriculums in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to engage students in scientific inquiry, the engineering design process, and computational thinking.

STEM Program Goals
Goal 1: Increase STEM literacy for allstudents, including those who do not pursue STEM-related careers or additional study in the STEM disciplines.
Goal 2: Expand the STEM-capable workforce and broaden the participation of women and minorities in that workforce.
